History library volunteers who are involved behind-the-scenes may deal with rare books and manuscripts, and meet respected authors, librarians, collection curators and members of the literary community.
If you can make a regular time commitment, we warmly welcome your help with specialized activities of the library. Volunteers can make a significant difference by providing reference services, processing manuscript collections, reviewing book collections, assisting with special projects or daily operations, thus improving library services.
